Honestly I never thought I would make it this far. In my mind I kept coming up with ways to get Deric back home. But of course none of them would have been reasonable and all very lame.
But to my surprise the deployment has been easier than I ever imagined. I thought I would be the wife that would be depressed and crying all the time. But I told myself I could look at it two ways. Make the best of it and go on with life, or be the depressed super sad wife.
So why not make the best of every situation. I hate being sad and depressed all the time, its no fun. Yes, it does suck very bad to have my husband gone for 7 1/2 months but I am totally not in control of the situation.
The only way to get through this is to be HAPPY and get excited about every little thing I hear from him. Every letter I get from him and text makes me incredibly HAPPY! Hearing his voice is the best thing ever! It totally keeps me going. I hate it when we run out of time on his phone cards. But I know the next time I actually talk to him will make so happy and pretty much melt!
But its half way done! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT???? I seriously remember bawling my eyes out on the way home from Camp Pendleton, and crying at every little thing that I saw of his the next day. It definitely gets easier as the time goes by, and honestly its gonna be weird to have him back home. I have gotten into such a routine with my days and nights that he might just mess them up!
I can't wait to have him mess it all up though, and to move on with our lives and plan for our future!!!! It Will be nice to have someone in the house with me all the time!
I am so in love with my camera. It has been a lot of fun to see the different settings, I haven't figured out how to edit my pictures yet, but soon! Best purchase so far! I took M & M to the park on Tuesday and we had a blast with a photo shoot! little M wasn't too interested he just wanted to play in the sand! But big M was totally into it! Here are 4 of my faves of the kiddies!
