Health Care Reform

This is the best video I have seen on health care! I am completely against it and this video says it all!!

85% of hard working Americans have health care! under the proposed health care reform the other 15% will get health care and the people who already are working for their health care will loose their freedom to choose who they want as their doctor! WHY are we doing this! its stupid! watch this video! it is amazing!

8th grade

As most of you know Deric and I met in 7th grade. We became really good friends and we started to like each other. fast forward about a year. We started to “Date”. “Dating” to us in 8th grade meant maybe holding hands, sitting together and talking a lot on the phone! Yes that was the extent of our “dating” in 8th grade. I broke things off in a note a couple months I believe after we started “Dating”. I specifically remember doing this. We were in Mrs. Arnolds 8th grade science class. I passed Deric a note. After that I didn’t know what he did with the note or really if he read it all or not. Well recently my amazing mother-in-law sent us this torn and crumbled up note. It is the note that I broke up with Deric in way back in 8th grade. Deric took the note home with him tore it up and threw it in a tree in front of his house. His mom has always told him if there is anything inside the house that is her property to look at, so being smart he threw it away outside! (I have no idea why, why not throw it away at school????) Well Kerry came home and found it and for some reason kept it!!! She found it a little while ago digging through some boxes. How awesome is that!  Well this is what it reads!!!

Deric, I really don’t want to go out anymore, its more like we are on a friendship based relationship and not boyfriend girlfriend relationship. But don’t me wrong I really really still like you still but its just not working. I feel bad and I still want to be your friend but if you don’t want too its okay. i am really sorry to hurt you.

Love always, Jenna.

Kinda tacky huh! I love that I got straight to the point and then and the end tried to lessen the blow! haha but I was completely right about being friends!! I am just so glad we still wanted to my friend! He knew more than I did!!!!

Princess Party

This my loyal subjects is Queen Makena.

DSC_0004 DSC_0012DSC_0052

Today was her Majesties 5th birthday.

She invited all 15 of her royal subjects to her royal birthday bash. There were princesses doing hair and make up, crafts fit for a queen, a royal dance, a princess piƱata, and no royal birthday bash is complete without a tea party, model posed pictures and the royal cake!

What a fun chaotic birthday! But it went off without a hitch. I didn’t see any crying or fighting between all the princesses! It was wonderful! My job included hair, photography and making sure the Queen was being nice to her princesses!!!  It was a lot of fun to see 16 princesses running around the yard playing!

Christmas

Since Deric is gone I have decided that it is the perfect time for me to start crafting up a storm! and my craft of choice is Christmas! I did three project tonight that were SUPER easy. I went to Michaels today and in their dollar area I found glitter Christmas words, 2 pack of ball ornaments. I bought some e6000 glue! its wonderful stuff! I like it more than modge podge! here is what I came up with!DSC_0011 DSC_0014

Luckily I had some unused frames sitting around the house and A LOT of Christmas scrapbook paper! These project took like 2 minutes each! cut out some paper the size of your frame and then glue with the glitter words on with the e6000 glue! and the ornaments i just put in some jars that I had around the house! SO simple but so beautiful!!!

I also got my hair cut and colored today! I have golden highlights with a chocolate brown well more like a chocolate red base! i think its beautiful! and i got about 2 inches chopped off my hair! I didn’t realize how long my hair was in the back until it was on the ground! sorry for the lack of light in the picture, our apartment has HORRIBLE lighting!DSC_0001

Oh I put up drapes! I think it adds SO much more comfort to the living room that is mostly while! and I added some beautiful pillows to the couch!

Zoomars

Since it is Veterans day today the kids had the day off of school. So another lady in the neighborhood and I decided to take the kids to San Juan Capistrano and go to Zoomars. Its a glorified petting zoo. Loads of guinea pigs and bunny rabbits, chickens and roosters, Billy goats and horses. Ostriches, Llamas, train rides and pony rides. Along with some very nice play structures and swings. It is Makena’s heaven! Makena is in LOVE with any kind of animal and not afraid to touch or hold ANYTHING!  We had a hard time talking her into leaving the guinea pigs.

a lot to update on! (long with LOADS of pictures!)

I again have been a super big slacker. October was a great month! We spent two of the weekends in Sacramento for my cousin Brandon’s mission farewell and the next weekend for a baby blessing. My best friend Lauren and her husband Adam blessed their sweet baby Aiden in their ward. It was my first time seeing baby Aiden and he is adorable and so sweet!DSC_0190

Halloween was the same weekend as the blessing, so Deric and I got to take the girls (natalie and brooke) around trick or treating! I haven’t been trick or treating door to door in a LONG time! It was a lot of fun to run around the neighborhoods with the girls! Deric and I decided to dress up as Raggedy Anne and Andy. Most of the parents knew who we were but a lot of the kids had NO clue!

We also got side swiped going down the grapevine on the way to Sacramento the 2nd weekend. Luckily NOTHING bad happened to us. Just got some rubber on the side of our car. But Deric did spend the rest of the next day with my brother Brian learning how to change brakes and putting on new tires!

We just booked out tickets to come home for Christmas! We will be in Spokane the 21st-2nd! I can NOT wait! It is going to be SO much fun. I am so looking forward to spending a lot of time with family and playing in the snow and sitting around playing games! I am so excited for Christmas!

DSC_0214 DSC_0035 DSC_0071I love Halloween and fall! Pumpkin seeds, bags full of leaves, leaves covering the ground that crinkles under your feed, the crisp fall air. This is my favorite season!DSC_0108 DSC_0111 These two have one of the best relationships! Jillian is most definitely  lucky to have Brookie Cookie has her older sister!  DSC_0144 DSC_0139Nathan “posing” for me in the tree!DSC_0170 Okay is she NOT the cutest strawberry ever? We took her trick or treating with us for a while! At first she was a little hesitant to go to peoples doors, but after about 2 houses she realized that EVERY house gave her candy. She was running ahead of all of us to get to the houses! It was very cute to see a short little strawberry running down the side walk!DSC_0177DSC_0195

DSC_0466 This is Elder Brandon Treadway! WHAT AN AMAZING KID! He entered the MTC last Wednesday! He will be serving a 2 year mission for our church in Cebu Phillipeans. He is an amazing man and I can’t wait to hear about all of his adventures and am very excited to see him again in 2 years!    DSC_0062 DSC_0058DSC_0061These kids are so cute! I lived with them for about a year and half! DSC_0465DSC_0103 DSC_0135 WHERES WALDO!!!!!
