Lawrences

Our really good friends Emily and Alden moved today to texas. To celebrate them we had a going away party last friday. So many people came to wish them a fond farwell. and we had LOADS of desserts! and of course the men started a game of ultimate frisbee!

Saturday we decided to spend a beach day with the Lawrence’s, Williams, Taggart’s, and O’Malley’s. When we first got to the beach we noticed 3 dolphins playing just past the waves. The dolphins stayed around us for a good 30 minutes. It was beautiful!!! We had so much fun with everyone! But really I am going to miss the Lawrence’s SO much! They really helped me a ton when Deric was on deployment! I hope they have an amazing time in Austin Texas.

we have a new home!!!!

We drove to Phoenix on Saturday morning and spent the rest of the afternoon looking at apartments in the Glendale, Peoria and Scottsdale areas!
We fell in love with a couple and after some pro and con discussion we decided on the Pillar at Scottsdale Townhomes.
They are beautiful!!! 3 levels, two bedrooms, two baths, awesome pool area, indoor basketball court, lots of grassy areas to play with Diesel, and it just feels like home!!! This is our specific layout. The very 1st floor is actually a garage, which is super nice! we get direct access from our garage to our home! no unloading groceries in the crazy Arizona heat! we move in august 27th.  Its very bittersweet! I can't wait to move into this new home and start our life pretty much fresh in a new city. But I am very much dreading leaving Tustin and all the AMAZING people that we have met here!

Independence Day!

One of my favorite holidays! I love the patriotism every where you look and the feeling of everyone being united on this one day!

We spent the morning with a portion of our ward at an amazing families house for a waffle breakfast and then set off for San Diego to hang out with my brother and his family!

We ate way too much food, played some fun games at a local carnival, played on the slip side, ate again, and watched fireworks. It was so nice to spend the day with the people I care about most! Family! just wish all of my family could have been together!

It was a very HOTT day but I am fairly certain everyone including Thor and Diesel had a blast!
