TMI part 6

and hopefully the last TMI!
Deric had is completely awkward test last week and passed with more than fly colors. Nothing is wrong with him AT all. The doctor was a little surprised and excited to tell me that his little men most definitely know how to swim! normal sperm count is around 2-3 million but Derics were at 4 million.
So that leaves the issue of not getting pregnant on me!!! After all the test results and everything we have been through the past 2 months the diagnoses is finally Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome.  Thanks to Wikapedia I know what it is! Here is a little info on POCS
Poly cystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common female endocrine disorders affecting approximately 5%-10% of women of reproductive age (12–45 years old) and is thought to be one of the leading causes of female sub fertility.[1][2][3][4]
The principal features are obesity, anovulation (resulting in irregular menstruation) or amenorrhea, acne, and excessive amounts or effects of androgenic (masculinizing) hormones. The symptoms and severity of the syndrome vary greatly among women. While the causes are unknown, insulin resistance, diabetes, and obesity are all strongly correlated with PCOS.
I know that was kind of a lot for one sitting. But the my doctor thinks the reason for my POCS is not the right balance of hormones. So next month I will start Clomid on day 5 of cycle and be tracking everything. Clomid will regulate my ovulation and my hormones, but the chances of getting multiples is very high. We are hoping for just one baby at a time! But will be more than happy with what ever we are given!
Hopefully in a month or two we will have wonder news to share!!!
Thank you to everyone who has been praying on our behalf it has been greatly appreciated. We are excited for the new journey ahead and can't wait to bring some babies into this world!!!!!

I hear this song a lot in the car and it gets me crying every time. I am not one to openly show my emotions if I can handle it and this song makes me a liar. If heaven wasn't so far away I would be there everyday to hang out with my grandpa and do a puzzle with him!!!!! and I could hang out with my grandpa and grandma Wilson that I have never met!

TMI..Part 5

I believe this is part 5!
I had my last doctors appointment yesterday and it went great. All my tests results have come back normal. One of my blood labs came back a little high, which my doctor said could be the cause of this all, but before she ruled that the answer, she wants to have Deric tested. Sorry hun. He has to go get tested tomorrow and hopefully the results will be back by next Monday.
If everything is normal with him, then we will proceed forward with putting me on Chlomid.
Chlomid pretty much just helps stimulate my ovulation! and she is hoping that it will be the answer to our problems! I am hoping and praying that this simple pill will be the answer!!

shoe review!!

I was lucky enough to do a shoe review for one of my favorite companies!!!! I ordered a pair of their awesome boots like 2 years ago ( still LOVE them) and was able to choose a pair of shoes to do a review on! I chose the Simple shoe take on eleastic!

I love the concept behind these shoes! The soles of these shoes are recycled and most of the shoe is biodegradable. Plus they have this super cute elastic piece over the top of the shoe and the elastic is different colors of purple which just happens to be one of my favorite colors to wear!
I have really bad plantar fascists so comfort and support are HUGE to me when I look at buying shoes. Not only are these shoes super cute and I get LOADS of compliments but they also are very supportive. They even lasted the Disneyland test. My feet didn't hurt at all after walking around Disneyland for 8 hours! That's huge! Most of my shoes don't pass that test!
I took them camping two weekends ago and they got super dirty. I took a wash cloth and a little shout and the stains came right out! Couldn't have been happier!!!
The only down fall is that my feet get stinky after I wear them, but I have solved that problem with wearing little tiny socks.
All in all I LOVE these shoes! They are totally worth buying. They are SUPER adorable and most of all have the support we all need. and another upside to this company is that the price you see when you are checking out is the price you pay for the shoe and shipping already included!!! LOVE IT!

visit http://www.natureshop.com/Products/products.asp?ProductID=1789 They have LOADS of wonderful items for sale and a lot of super cute shoes!
I would post pictures of me wearing these adorable shoes, but no my camera has been in the shop for the past month.

TMI part 4

I had my HSG test on Friday. and honestly it wasn't as bad as I was planning on it being. Yes it was very uncomfortable and awkward with a male doctor all up in my business. But it was really cool. I was able to watch the fluid flow through my uterus and Fallopian tubes on the xray screen they had in the room. Honestly modern technology just amazes me. I had no idea that my Fallopian tubes were like the size of strings. It was amazing to see.
The doctor told me right then that my tubes looked great and that he didn't see any blockages in my tubes and that everything looks great. I have to wait till the end of the week to get the official results but from what he told me everything looks great.
I have one more blood test I have to take in a couple of days and that will be the end of my testings. Then its Hubby's turn to get tested!

Feelings

I realized today after going through some of my posts that I haven't really stated my feelings on this whole situation of infertility testing.
so here goes... I am scared out of my mind as to what the outcome of these tests could be. I am good at hiding my emotions. I don't show people very often my true feelings. I am scared to death of my test tomorrow. I am afraid of what they might or might not find. I really am ready for the answers. I really want to know why getting pregnant is taking so long.
I have been thinking a lot about the different situations that can result from these tests and what my options are. and I think I am okay with most of them except for the one where they tell me I can't have kids. But I am really trying to not think about that one. Its my biggest fear in the entire world. Even more scary to me than Bears and Sharks and thats HUGE if you know me!
I know adoption is an amazing thing but more than anything I want to have a life grow inside me to feel it move and hear the heart beat and have that special 9 months of bonding with the little life that Deric and I created. I will get pricked and have uncomfortable tests just to have that 9 months!
I check my email almost every 10 minutes just to see if the doctor has updated my test results. I really have been hoping that they would find something in my blood work that could explain it all, but they haven't sent me my results yet, which really is about to drive me insane! The second I get them I will for sure post! I am super anxious, scared, emotional, upset and excited for this whole journey. I am so ready to figure this out but then again scared out of mind!

TMI part 3

Today I have my blood work!!! I have been doing a lot of research to find out exactly what all these tests do. So here is my hard work results!!!

FHS-Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) is a hormone found in humans and other animals. It is synthesized and secreted by gonadotrophs of the anterior pituitary gland. FSH regulates the development, growth, pubertal maturation, and reproductive processes of the body. FSH and Luteinizing hormone (LH) act synergistically in reproduction.

Estradiol-6 is a hormone that is naturally produced. It is a sex hormone. They will check to make sure my levels are in normal range.

Prolactin-Increased prolactin levels can interfere with ovulation. They may also indicate further testing (MRI) should be done to check for a pituitary tumor. Some women with PCOS also have hyperprolactinemia

TSH 3rd generation-  A high level of TSH combined with a low or normal T4 level generally indicates hypothyroidism, which can have an effect on fertility.

Testosterone-FREE- I had NO idea that women had testosterone. They will be checking the levels in my body!

Hemoglobain a1c- just to check my blood sugar levels!

I go in later this afternoon. Hopefully I will have the test results back soon!
Next week is my very uncomfortable HSG test. Not looking forward to it, but really getting anxious to get some answers!!!!
