Free Fair!

On Monday the Spokane County Fair had a free day! Everyone got free admission. It was pretty neat. Besides the fact that almost everyone and their dog from Spokane and surrounding areas were there. It was fun! Here are all the pictures to prove it!

Major props to my parents who went all over the fair with us. I even got to ride all of the little kiddie rides with my niece Brianna. Dang those things can SPIN!!!

This is a picture of my dads truck that he made for the fair. He is really talented. He looks at a picture and builds them from scrap metal. NO KITS! We have lots of cool trucks in our house that he makes!

Well I am off to go pick up the Bridesmaid dresses!! 2 are done! They are beautiful! My dress should be in in Friday. I am hoping its the right one this time! I can't wait to see!!!!

Pretty Cool.

On Saturday, Stacy hosted a bridal shower for me and my mom, grandma, mother-in-law and sisters. It was beautiful! She always does such a great job! If you want to know more about the shower go HERE!

This blog is about my Grandma!

She came over to our house a little bit early to drive up to Stacy's with us. She got to talking with me a little and told me that my Grandfather had proposed to her on Friday June 13Th 1952! How cool is that! We both were proposed to on Friday the 13Th and in June! I thought it was pretty neat! Now I have something VERY cool in common with my Grandma, not just that we sneeze the same! (keep reading there is more. It wont let me space it the way I want it. So sorry)

And seriously how cute is my Addie in her sweet flower girl dress! I can't wait to see her in it in 19 days!!! Holy cow our engagement has FLOWN by! I think I will be done with all the planning by then!

Deric is out in the "field" (which pretty much means sitting in a truck, while everyone else shoots guns in the middle of no where) until the week before the Wedding. I can't wait to see him, it really has been WAYYYY to long since we have together!

He is so good looking in this picture! well to me he looks good all the time! I can't wait to be married to him!!!!

and a BIG shout out to my sister Katie, who has been here for almost 2 months helping with the wedding! She is my matron of honor. and a lot of stuff would not be getting done if not for her! Thanks for coming over and helping sista LOVE you!

I have been tagged!

My soon to be sister-in-law Marissa tagged me! This might be a little hard for me!!!! but here it goes!

The rules: Link the person who tagged you. Mention the rules on your blog. Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours. Tag 6 fellow bloggers by linking them. Leave a comment on each of the blogger's blogs letting them know they've been tagged.

1. I can quote most of the episodes of Word World! They are Addie's favorite shows. We watch them in the car, before nap time, after nap time, pretty much whenever she wants! Whatever keeps her happy and learning is okay with me! But sometimes when I am in the car and there is no music, "Lets build a word with dog and duck and pig and sheep, there's ALWAYS a surprise"comes up in my head!

2. I am a HARDCORE Twilight fan. I even got my sister, and her mother in law and my mom to start reading them. Its taken a while to be able to talk to them about the books, which i desperately needed. I hate not being able to talk to someone about the books I read. I need to join a book club when I get to San Diego. I can't wait for the movie to come out! November 21st. I even challenged one of the boys that I nanny. If he reads the whole 1st twilight book before I come home for Christmas that I will take him on a special date to see the movie! Just me and him. He is doing pretty good at it! He is almost 10. hahaha

3. I love to clean. Other peoples houses! Like at my job. I love having their house totally clean before I leave for the day. Which is part of my job, but I am super anal about it. It has to be super nice and neat. But when it comes to my house, not so much. But I think that will change when Deric and I have our own house. (I hope)

4. I LOVE to throw parties. I love dinner parties in particular! It makes me so happy to have a nice clean house with lots of pretty dinner dishes. A really nice table scape and lots of nice dishes to put them out on too. I think Deric and his friends might have to sample a lot of that when I move to San Diego. Hopefully they don't care free food!

5. I love shows that make you think. Like CSI, BONES and Numbers. and Movies like that too. I don't really care that much for love movies (well just kidding) but honestly I would rather watch a thinker movie. The Sential, Vantage Point. Something that makes me think of all the clues and who committed the crime! I love it. But they do give me nightmares.

6. I have to sleep on my stomach. I can go to bed laying on my side or my back, but the second i turn over onto my stomach I am out. Its fast too. So if I know I need to go to sleep at night, I go straight to my stomach, but if I know I have sometime and want to think, I lay on my side. Kinda weird I know!

One Awesome/CRAZY week.

So Monday I got a call from the Bridal store that I got my dress from. They told me that the dress I had ordered for the wedding was IN!!!! I was so excited. I took off with little Addie and went to go see it!

To my dismay, it was the WRONG dress. Seriously it was UGLY. I couldn't believe it. Luckily the owner of the store took responsibility for the dress being wrong and now they have changed it to the RIGHT dress and are paying to have it rushed shipped to us. Lets hope it gets here in time!At work this week I have had the chance to watch the 2 cutest two year olds!!!!
Addie and Alexander. I watch Addie everyday but we added Alexander into the mix this week! His dad is a new ENT at Geoff's office. I am so excited to have the Husein's here to stay! What a great family! Okay so seriously HOW CUTE IS THAT FACE! Addie is adorable! that is her new funny smile that she does! So dang cute! And Alexander wasn't to big into looking at the camera, but I think he really enjoyed that cookie he had! These two together were so much fun! Always playing cars and wanting to go outside! Tons of fun!

Two Wednesdays ago as I was taking Chase to a doctors appointment on the south hill my favorite radio station KIX 96.1. If you were the 6Th called you got tickets to go to the Good Guys Rod and Custom car show! I was lucky enough to win! I never win anything! I am always like the 5Th called or the 1st. But it worked out. Chase was really excited that I won too. He actually recorded me on the radio. It was pretty funny!

But who better to take to a classic car show then this guy!

When I think of classic cars I automatically think of my Dad!

So I took my Dad out on a date yesterday!!!! It was a lot of fun! We saw a bunch of awesome cars! It was so fun to be with my Dad cause he told me all about the engines and the blowers and how to tell the difference between the cars from their headlights and tail lights. I had NO idea how many cars my dad had before he had kids! WOW he had some AWESOME cars. Too bad he had to be responsible and get rid of them all for us kids.

Our favorite car was this 1958 black corvette! Its a beauty! and my dads DREAM car. There weren't as many Corvettes as we were hoping for. But there were a lot of cars that I had no idea even were in existence! hahah

How cool is this truck! Its an old Milk delivery truck. It sold Grade B milk. I have no idea what that is. But it totally reminds me of something off of Dr. Seuss. So cool!

It was an awesome week! I am so glad that everything got figured out with my dress and lets hope it comes in right!

I still can't believe that I am going to be leaving Addie and the boys. It makes me sad to think about, but again its going to be worth it to be married to my best friend! Which by the way he is totally amazing! It sucks being away, but Stacy keeps reminding me that distance makes the heart grow fonder. It sure does. I can't wait to see him in a couple of weeks and then be married and sealed to him for eternity! Its going to be amazing. My Sister-In-Laws little brother Steve got married last week and I went to his reception last night and it just made me want my wedding to come faster! I love Deric so much and can't wait till September 26Th! OH and invitations are ordered! So if you would like one make sure I get your email or address.

Breaking Dawn!

I know these really has NOTHING to do about the wedding. But this sure makes me happy!

I got totally sucked in to the whole Twilight series in April and have read all 3 books. Last night the 4Th book came out. and I have to admit that I was at Barnes and Nobles at 11:00 last night waiting till midnight with all the other crazy, obsessed people for Breaking Dawn to be released. It was a lot of fun. I am kinda sad I didn't dress up. But still I got my book and I know what I am doing all day!!!! Along with preparing a lesson for Relief Society.
