Baby Jones!

sacramento 032-1

My best friend is having a baby boy in September!!!!! Lauren had her baby shower on Saturday and I wouldn’t have missed it for the world! This girl means SO much to me! She helped me through some of the hardest times of my life and has been the best friend a girl could EVER ask for!  I could go on and on about how amazing Lauren is. Thank you MYSPACE for having her be the first person to pop up on my search for an LDS girl with in 20 miles of my brothers house! and thank you Lauren for responding to my totally out of the blue weird email! Without you Sacramento would not have been so amazing and fun! I owe you a lot for being my best friend! I love you tons!

So I asked my mom to make her a baby quilt for little Aiden! I picked out and bought the fabric and gave her the freedom to do what she wanted and make it for her! I think it turned out AMAZING and so did everyone at the baby shower!

Another good reason to go to Sacramento are these little ones!

I love these three! I lived with them for a little over a year and came to love and adore them even more! I have a pretty special relationship with all of them! Lauren, her sister Megan and I took the three kids to sacramento 036 BIG SPOON for some frozen yogurt!!! It was fun to see the kids build their own desserts and then to eat them! sacramento 048 Nathan was the funniest, trying to eat his chocolate yogurt covered gummy bears!

I think he enjoyed it!sacramento 049 It was good! we got two thumbs up for our little surprise trip to big spoon!

Sacramento is totally the place I want to end up some day! Going back this weekend made me miss the city and everyone I met while I lived there. Maybe some day!!!

Loreto, Baja California Sur Mexico

Can I just say I am totally spoiled!!!

We left Wednesday for Loreto Mexico! I had never heard of it! We flew on a 14 person private Jet. Holy cow! So much fun and so much easier with little kids!

We were welcomes at the airport by the Mexican Military with guns and also with the nasty HUMIDITY! I don’t do good in humidity I have learned.

We stayed at the beautiful La Mision hotel right on the ocean! We watched Pelicans diving for fish, fisher man catching fish, and locals driving up and down the road in front of our hotel. At about 7:00 EVERY NIGHT everyone with a car or a bike were on the road cruisin. It was totally the thing to do. Reminded me of crusin down Division on friday nights! hahah.

We played in the salt water pools almost all day long and ate wonderful food and slept amazing at night!

Saturday we went to an island about 15 minutes away from the hotel and played all day on the white sand beaches and crystal clear waters! Many different types of fish came up to us and were swimming with us, some needle fish, sergeant majors fish, angel fish, we saw from a little distance about 10 feet some sting rays and blow fish. It was so beautiful! But a little word to the wise, the Mexican sun on the ocean is totally different than the sun on lake Coeur D’Alene! you need like SPF 75 sun block or more or you will turn out like this!mexico 156 its very painful and finally starting to peel about 4 days later. My legs look the exact same and my face has some awesome tan lines from my sunglasses! Yes I have raccoon eyes!

The town of Loreto is very small and not a lot of people speak English! But its a beautiful and very friendly town!mexico 151 mexico 058 The first church built in Loreto!mexico 078 Pelicans relaxin at Coronado Islandmexico 120 mexico 124

There are of course a lot of very intersting shops in the “old town” square, which are so cute and so much fun! But out favorite little place had this guy to offer as well!mexico 057 mexico 128 He was HUGE! about 3 feet long, but so nice and let all of us touch him! well besides me I was totally not interested!

Well enjoy the pictures! there are TONS!

Mexico Bound!

I leave in the morning for Mexico! Nothing to special, just Baja California, Mexico. But you still need a passport to go! It should be fun, warm and hopefully a little relaxing! Isn’t that what Mexico is for? So I wont be blogging for about a week, but when I do again, be ready for hopefully some amazing pictures of my trip!!!

and by the way the husband is in Australia living it up down under! I am totally jealous!!! Australia is definitely on the list of must see places before I die, along with Brazil, Scotland, New Zealand and South Africa to name a few!

Since I wont be blogging enjoying the pictures!

Another crazy weekend!

It really does feel like I am on the go all the time! I think I have been in the car and on airplanes more in the past 5 months then I ever have been in my entire life! Going between Spokane, Seattle, Vegas, san Diego and Palm springs.

This weekend started on Wednesday night when I flew into Seattle to hang out with my sister and her family. My nephew carter turned 1 on June 4th! We had a mini birthday for him. He loved his ice cream cake if you can tell!DSC_0748

From Seattle I drove to the Tri-Cities for my sister in laws graduation from High School. I didn’t get any great pictures, which really makes me sad!

I drove to Spokane on Friday night and then today (Saturday) had the best day spent at the Farm Chicks show! If you have never been and are into antiques/shabby chic furniture and clothing and everything imaginable. You need to go next year! It was so much fun! My mom and I spent a good 4 hours there and we decided that we didn’t even see everything that they had. It was amazing! And I saw so many people that I knew! It was so much fun!

Its almost time for regular life to start back up! I’m not to excited to go back to California!
